Returning for season two is Henry Cavill, who leads the cast of The Witcher saga as Geralt of Rivia. Anya Chalotra returns as the sorceress Yennefer, Freya Allan as Ciri, and Joey Batey as fan-favourite Jaskier.
Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton) has been cast as Nenneke and Cassie Clare (Delicious) as Philippa Eilhart. They join a number of previously announced new Season 2 cast members in addition to other returning cast members who include, Yasen Atour as Coen, Mecia Simson as Francesca, Terence Maynard as Artorius, Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla Vigo, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Wilson Mbomio as Dara and Anna Shaffer as Triss Merigold.

Production on Season 2 started a couple of weeks before the pandemic shut it down last March.
