YANGA! TV, the home of Quality African Entertainment will launch the new YANGA! Shop segment on the channel from 6th November. Broadcasting weekdays 6am – 9am / weekends 8am – 10am YANGA! Shop will showcase products from diaspora small businesses and artisans offering hundreds of deals to the UK & Ireland diaspora population. Providing an ideal selection of gifts, gadgets and Christmas treats delivered directly to the home.

YANGA! Shop will offer an unparalleled teleshopping outlet for African small business owners to sell their products directly to diaspora consumers in the UK & Ireland. Africa Media Works is proud to launch this exciting innovative way for our viewers to shop, continuing our support of African content, photography and enterprise with this showcase of African small business in the UK. YANGA! Shop will be presented daily by effervescent Nigerian diaspora Presenter Julian Ballantyne; one of the longest standing Shopping Television presenters in the UK. Julian was a presenter on the world famous shopping network QVC for 20yrs, as well as presenting on kids tv programme “Motormouth” (ITV) & long-running daytime travel favourite “Wish You Were Here” (ITV).

YANGA! Shop will feature  a selection of Afrocentric mugs, Glambox lashes, handmade African fabric greetings cards and products curated for the African community. Tune in everyday for lots more amazing products direct from artisanal African businesses.
