A.Dot Becomes First Solo Female Host of BBC 1Xtra Breakfast

BBC Radio 1Xtra today announced A.Dot as the first solo female to host 1Xtra Breakfast (weekdays, 7-10am) in the station’s history. A.Dot, who joined 1Xtra in 2014 to present the station’s Saturday 4-7pm show and since October has hosted the weekday 1-4pm show, will take over the reins of 1Xtra Breakfast from 4 July.

Chiwetel Ejiofor’s BBC Mini-Series ‘Dancing On The Edge’ Premiers February 4th

The BBC has announced that Dancing on the Edge, Stephen Poliakoff’s new drama set in the early 1930’s, will begin on BBC 2 next month.
