BAFTA-Winner Wunmi Mosaku to Star in New E4 & Netflix drama ‘THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD’

The End of the F**king World is a darkly comic road trip tale based on the award-winning comic books of the same name by Charles Forsman, written by Charlie Covell, produced by Clerkenwell Films and Dominic Buchanan Productions and is a co-production with Netflix.

BAFTA-winning Wunmi Mosaku (Damilola Our Loved Boy, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) will play hardened murder squad detective, DC Teri Donoghue, a criminal investigator who is put on the trail of teen outsiders James (Alex Lawther – Black Mirror, The Imitation Game) and Alyssa (Jessica Barden – The Lobster, Ellen, Penny Dreadful).

The teenagers embark on a road trip but quickly find themselves caught up in dark events that cause them to become the prime suspects in a manhunt. To complicate matters, as Teri pursues the kids across the country, she must also ward off some awkward sexual tension between her and her cop partner, Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones, The Moorside) who plays DC Eunice Noon, someone who has always dreamed of being a real detective – just like Columbo.

Wunmi Mosaku was recently seen in ITV drama Fearless. Read more about it here. She also starred in Sky drama Guerrilla; read more about it here.
