BFI Future Film Raw Shorts Presents, Black Stars, Saturday 19th November 2016

Come and learn from diverse young talents who either write, direct or star in their own projects.

Our Raw Shorts events, designed in collaboration with our steering group of young filmmakers and film enthusiasts, will give you valuable skills and industry insights. As part of the BFI’s Black Star season, come and learn from Future Film black stars at this special event.

These diverse young talents either write, direct or star in their own projects, building huge online followings and kick-starting careers along the way – they’ll share tips and tricks in a Q&A and screen examples of their work before free networking drinks.
Tickets just £6 or bring a friend for £10.

Every month we have drop in surgeries with our partners Euroscript who will help you develop your scripts and Young Actors Theatre Management who will help you cast your projects.

Our panel this month includes Samuell Benta (All About The McKenzies, ITV2), Baby Isako (Venus vs. Mars, Sky1) and Tyrell Williams (Hood Documentary, BBC3).
