FRESH: A new artist development opportunity from The Marlborough Theatre
The Marlborough Theatre will be rolling out an exciting professional development scheme in 2017 specifically targeted at LGBTQ+ BAME artist/companies as part of a project funded by Arts Council through the Elevate scheme.
They are seeking 2 artists/companies primarily working in theatre & performance. Artists/Companies will ideally have a show that requires a period of final development, an existing work that is looking for redevelopment alongside mentorship, or a clear performance idea that is ready to be realised in this time frame.

Week long residencies will take place at The Marlborough Theatre during January, February and March 2017, in which time participants will have access to a mentor and dramaturge, plus producing support from The Marlborough producing team.
The ambition of this process is realise two performances that will be ready to tour in 2017/2018.
The Marlborough will cover registration fees, marketing costs and tech support when showcasing the work at Brighton Fringe 2017, as well as fees for both the development period and the performance dates.
