BBC3 and factual indie production company Sundog Pictures have reconnected for two-part documentary Reggie Yates: Hidden Australia.
The award-winning Reggie Yates will front the doc which take an in depth look at the issues plaguing modern-day Australian youth.
Part one ‘Black in the Outback’ will see Yates journey to the Australian Outback to uncover the plight of Australia’s indigenous Aboriginie people are existing under extreme poverty, racism and exclusion. Part two ‘Addicted to Ice’ will see Yates look at the increase in the use of crystal methamphetamine aka Meth, aka Ice which has spread across Melbourne. The effects of users and those seeking to rehabilitate.
BBC, Yates and Sundog the trio have worked together on the previous critically acclaimed and award-winning series’ Reggie Yates: Extreme South Africa, Reggie Yates: Extreme Russia, and the recent Reggie Yates: Life and Death Chicago.
Yates will be an associate producer on the project.
