S.O.U.L. CelebrateConnect is a screening & networking event at the BFI Southbank. Set up in support of ethnic minorities in British Film & TV. We screen a selection of short films and work from emerging talent from the BAME communities.

Following the screening we host a networking drinks reception. S.O.U.L. CelebrateConnect is an exciting opportunity to see the work of fresh new talent and network with film and TV industry movers and shakers.

S.O.U.L. CelebrateConnect is offered for free in support of our film and TV community and we would really like to keep it that way. Therefore you can only book one ticket per person. If you want to bring someone, direct them to this page and have them book their own ticket. We ask that you do not book a ticket unless you are sure you will be able to use it. Thank you!

S.O.U.L’s primary focus is improving the connections between black and ethnic minority film and TV professionals, celebrating their work and connecting them with industry executives from broadcasting and film. This will result in better representation of black and ethnic minority communities both in front of and behind the camera in mainstream television and cinema.

Founded by Iyare Igiehon, Nuru Mkali & Lawrence Coke S.O.U.L is not only focused on opening doors for emerging film and TV talent from Black and ethnic minority communities but also on offering film and television audiences, within these communities and beyond, quality diverse content.
