You will never hear The Luniz’s ‘I Got 5 On It‘ the same way again.

After keeping kept tightly under wraps, Jordan Peele has finally blessed with a glimpse of his follow-up to Oscar-winning Get Out.

Us stars Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o, her Black Panther co-star Winston Duke and award-winning star of The Handmaid’s Tale, Elisabeth Moss. The synopsis which definitely ties into the trailer is as follows: A mother and father take their kids to their beach house, expecting to enjoy time with friends, but their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some visitors arrive uninvited.

So it’s a horror cast with a beautiful black family who appear to have to battle for their lives against people who look just like them. Peele is said to want to create more social thrillers which take a microscope to society’s flaws through the horror lens. We’re curious to learn the message behind Us. ‘Our own worst enemy’ as the voiceover intones… kill our demons? We hurt ourselves? Is Peele speaking to us as black folk? The levels already!

Us is produced by Blumhouse Productions who were also behind Get Out.
