On the Line: The Richard Williams Story – Tuesday 5th December @ 10pm | Sky Docs

Featuring newly uncovered interviews spanning the 1980s to now, Richard Williams – the father of tennis stars Venus and Serena – retraces his family’s journey from the poverty-stricken streets of Shreveport, Louisiana, to the grass courts of Wimbledon.

When We Were Kings – Wednesday 6th December @ 10:45pm | Sky Docs

documentary charting the challenge of an ageing Muhammad Ali for George Foreman’s World Heavyweight title held in Zaire in 1974. The film explores the impact of Ali’s visit to Africa before focusing on the epic fight, dubbed the `Rumble in the Jungle”, which has gone down in history as one of the greatest of all time.

Platform 7 – Thursday 7th December | ITVX

Follows Lisa who, after witnessing a cataclysmic event on Platform 7 of a railway station, finds her own fragmented memory jogged to reveal a connection between her own life and that of the event she has just witnessed. Supernatural elements combine with contemporary realism in this chilling drama. Starring Jasmine Jobson with Lladel Bryant.

Smothered – Thursday 7th December @ 10pm | Sky Comedy & NOW

Sammy, an independent woman is done with dating apps and here for a good time. Meanwhile, Tom, a settled man with a warm heart, carries his fair share of baggage. On a night out, they meet and hook up, on the condition that they never speak again. However, the sparks flying around them can’t be ignored. Starring Danielle Vitalis and Jordan Stephens.

Can Hayley and James’ relationship survive another turbulent family Christmas or has their future together gone off-piste?! Starring Cora Kirk, Angela Griffin, Natalie Gumede and Ram John Holder.

Big Zuu’s Christmas Eats – Friday 8th December @ 7pm| BBC Three

Big Zuu is back in London to celebrate Christmas – a time all about friends and family. He brings together some of his nearest and dearest from the music world to enjoy the festivities Big Eats style. In the first of two special programmes, Zuu is joined by siblings Jme and Julie Adenuga, Zuu’s cousin AJ Tracey and fellow foodie and hip-hop artist Loyle Carner.
