3 Times F1 World Champion Racing Driver Lewis Hamilton Confirms Role in Disney•Pixar’s CARS 3

Hamilton joins the illustrious voice cast of CARS 3, which releases in the UK and Ireland from July 14th 2017, which includes Owen Wilson, Armie Hammer and Cristela Alonzo, as the voice of ‘Hamilton’ – an in-car voice command assistant.

He announced the role on his social channels and debut an exclusive clip saying “Excited to be back working with Pixar on CARS 3. The film is action packed and mega! I can’t wait for you to see it.”

The turbo-charged CARS 3 sees Owen Wilson return as the voice of legendary ‘Lightning McQueen’ and Armie Hammer join the voice cast as new character, and McQueen’s new rival, ‘Jackson Storm’. McQueen is blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers and pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, ‘Cruz Ramirez’, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage.

Directed by Brian Fee (storyboard artist CARS, CARS 2) and produced by Kevin Reher (A BUG’S LIFE, LA LUNA short),

CARS 3 will arrive in UK cinemas on 14th July, 2017.
