MC Dave gave Camden Assembly an energetic performance at his headline show on the 9th of December 2016.
MC Dave otherwise known as Santandave has been gaining major ratings since his Black Box and SBTV freestyles showing how phenomenal his lyrics are. He’s only kept on progressing with his latest EP release Six Paths and getting recognition and support from world renowned Canadian rapper Drake who remixed one of his songs, Wanna Know.
The location was a perfect setting for this performance as it was small, dimmed and compacted creating a eager and hyped atmosphere assisted by breathtaking Dj’s and got the crowd going. As the lights were dimmed the use of spotlights and red lighting made the performance more interesting as all eyes were on Dave the whole night.
The crowd really made Dave feel at home, leaving the South London rapper overwhelmed. The crowd engaged well; knowing every lyric and verse to each his songs from his EP and other songs such as JKYL + HYD, these songs demonstrate the maturity of the 18 year old artist and showing how talented he his.
The highlight of the performance was as the end of the set when Dave was joined by his boys on stage for the Wanna Know remix. The crowd’s reaction was nuts! Everyone had their phones out trying to record the performance as well as upload as fast as they could onto social media. The performance was one to remember!
