Daniel Kaluuya to front Jordan peele’s next project

The man who can’t be stopped Daniel Kaluuya will star opposite Keke Palmer in Jordan Peele’s secret project.

With no information about what the project is about, all we do know is that it’s for Universal Pictures and will be released summer 2022. Peele will write and direct and it will be produced via his production company Monkeypaw. Reps overseeing the project for Universal are Senior VP production Sara Scott and creative executive Tony Ducret.

This is of course the second time Kaluuya has worked with Peele, the first being in the culturally groundbreaking social horror Get Out (2018) which landed Kaluuya a Best Actor Oscar nomination and Peele a Best Original Screenplay Oscar win.

Multi-talented Keke Palmer we recently saw in Hustlers alongside Jennifer Lopez and is the voice of ‘Rochelle‘ in Netflix’s original animation Big Mouth. We can only speculate that Palmer will probably be Kaluuya’s love interest, for which I’m sure you all will be screaming LOVE TO SEE IT, and BLACK LOVE but with Peele’s warped mind who the hell knows what’s going to happen. We will be here for it regardless!

Kaluuya is currently setting the socials on celebratory fire with his recent performance as Chairman Fred Hampton the assassinated Black Panther leader, in Judas and The Black Messiah. Co-written and Directed by Shaka King and produced by Charles D. King (Macro – production company) and Ryan Coogler (Black Panther) Juas and The Black Messiah comes to UK screens on February 26th.

This film is part of Monkeypaw Productions five-year exclusive deal with Universal.
