Directing Work Experience & Job Opportunities @ Royal Opera House. Various Deadlines

First Stage: Opera Directing – Applications close 3 October 2016.

The Royal Opera House is offering the opportunity to see how an opera director brings a show to life, by hosting a three-week placement on their upcoming revival of Jonathan Kent`s production of Puccini`s Manon Lescaut, this October/November. If you are looking to develop a career in theatre or opera directing, this placement will give you the opportunity to be in the heart of one of the busiest theatres in the UK with an international reputation. The ROH is particularly interested in hearing from directors that may not have considered working in opera before and would like to see if it might be for them.
