Normal Festival (iAM Fest) is an intergenerational wellbeing and arts festival curated with young people for the community iAM Fest is a fun-filled, energetic day of arts and celebration as well as highlighting wellbeing for the community.
High profile musical acts such as Omar, MC Bushkin from Heartless Crew and Jermaine Riley will be performing as well guest speakers from Time2Change and MQ Mental Health. There is also a line-up of fantastic spoken word performers and emerging artists who will be showcasing their talents! In addition there will be free workshops, face painting, as well as food and information stalls.
Harts Theatre Company is a community arts organisation founded by Ann Akin in 2013, the company aims to push the boundaries to shine a spotlight on youth talent in different areas of London “We focus on using performing arts to work with young people with the intention of helping them find their voice to benefit towards social change” Ann Akin, Artistic Director of HARTS Theatre Company.
iAM Normal Festival (iAM Fest) is an intergenerational mental wellbeing and arts festival. Harts Theatre Company will collaborate with NCS The Challenge (NCS) in Barnet, working with 105 of their participants to design and co-produce the festival with workshops tailored to their specific area of interest.
Although curated by the young people that HARTS works with it is very much an intergenerational inclusive festival where all are welcomed and celebrated.
