To celebrate the release of THE LAST TREE Picturehouse have created a video miniseries inspired by the film that centres around the idea of identity.
Speaking to five Black British influencers (including a journalist, restauranteur, and radio DJ) exploring how individual identity is formed over the course of their lives, and how their relationship with who they are manifests. Alongside the videos are a series of portraits that illustrate the nuanced identities displayed by Londoners with African and/or Caribbean roots.
The influencers involved are:
Reece Parkinson (Radio DJ and presenter)
Yomi Adegoke (journalist and author)
Dan Mosaku (social media influencer)
Emeka Frederick (restauranteur)
Lola Jagun (actress and influencer)
