Naomie Harris Wins Online Film Critics Society ‘Best Supporting Actress’ Award For Moonlight Role

Moonlight continues it’s critical acclaim, award recognition, and award winning!

Announced on Tuesday, the Online Film Critics Society awarded the coming of age film four top awards out of its seven nominations – Best Picture, Best Director to Barry Jenkins, Best Supporting Actor to Mahershala Ali and Best Supporting Actress to our very own Naomie Harris.

The film beat other awards run favourite, La La Land which was also up for seven nominations.

Moonlight also cleaned up at Black Film Critics Cirle awards winning Best Film, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, Best Original Screenplay and Best Cinematography to James Laxton.

Moonlight tells the captivating tale of Chiron, as he grows from boy to man and navigates his position in the world, through love, pain and survival.

Harris gives amazing performance as Chiron’s troubled mother Paula.
