The Black British Theatre Awards intend to illuminate the creative achievements of British Black people in the performing arts.
To celebrate the rich cultural influence African and Caribbean creatives have brought to the UK’s theatre world, the Black British Theatre Awards have announced a new award ceremony.
Nominations are open now for categories recognising achievements on and behind the stage.
Deadlines for nominations is August 2nd, 2019. The awards will take place this October during Black History Month.
