The Netflix and AGBO action-thriller is based on the first installment of the 10-book Gray Man series by Mark Greaney.
Based on the first instalment of the 10-book Gray Man series by Mark Greaney, the film adaptation stars Ryan Gosling (La La Land) as freelance assassin and former CIA operative Court Gentry (a.k.a. the Gray Man) who is hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans – Captain America), a former cohort of Gentry’s at the CIA.
Regé-Jean Page (Bridgerton) is set to appear along with Alfre Woodard (Clemency), Eme Ikwuako (On My Block), and Dhanush (Anegan) in the film written by Jo Russo, with the help of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Along with directing, the Russo Brothers and Mike Larocca will produce via AGBO alongside Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Chris Castaldi on behalf of Roth Kirschenbaum. Executive Producers are Patrick Newall, Jake Aust, Todd Makurath.
Page is best known for his breakout role in the Netflix series Bridgerton, which earned him SAG and NAACP Image Award nominations for his individual performance, and recently signed on to star in the Paramount’s untitled Dungeons & Dragons film. He also appeared in the Amazon film Sylvie’s Love starring Tessa Thompson (Creed franchise). It has also recently been reported that he will read a bedtime story on the BBC’s Cbeebies.
