Ade Femzo – Creator of Drop Out

Please introduce yourself …

I’m Ade Femzo, a filmmaker and founder of ACP Network.

Tell us about your team …

The project was a part of the Create Next Campaign with Converse x John Boyega. My team was amazing, and having the support from Bounce Cinema, Converse, John Boyega and ACP Network really made the making of this short film an amazing experience.

What does the story of Drop Out mean to you personally?

It reminds me of the time I decided I wanted to pursue the creative industry instead of going to uni and studying. Drop Out was based on the time I told my mum I was leaving school.

Tell us a memorable moment from idea to final edit.

Walking on set to see the ACP Network Young Creators working on a professional set.

Which scene best defines what you love about this project?

Every scene with me and Kemi (playing mum). She really played her role well.

What’s next?

More projects.

How do we keep up to date with you and your work?
