Mandy – Monday 20th December 10pm | BBC Two

Mandy contemplates the true meaning of Christmas. Is it the glimmer in a schoolboy’s expectant eye as he opens his pillowcase on Christmas morning and tucks into a delicious walnut and a bruised tangerine? Or, is it a Christmas episode of a TV show that is slightly longer than usual? With Michelle Greenidge as Lola.


A Taste Of Christmas With Andi Oliver – Tuesday 21st December 9pm | BBC Two

Andi Oliver is joining three Glaswegian families to share the food and the fun of their three very different festive feasts.


The Wonder Years – Wednesday 22nd December | STAR On Disney+

Based on the classic series, this new iteration focuses on the Williamses, a Black
middle-class family in the late 1960s Alabama made sure it was the Wonder Years for them too. Narrated by Don Cheadle.


Emily In Paris – Wednesday 22nd December | Netflix

The hit Netflix series returns for series 2. A young American woman from the
Midwest is hired by a marketing firm in Paris to provide them with an American
perspective on things. With Lucien Laviscount.


Ghosts: Christmas Special – Thursday 23rd December 8.30pm | BBC One

The spooky comedy returns for a festive one-off episode. Starring Lolly Adefope as Kitty and Kiell Smith-Bynoe as Mike.


After Ever After: Hansel & Gretel – Thursday 23rd December 8pm | Sky Max

Hansel and Gretel have escaped the witch’s gingerbread house only to learn that
their village is being enchanted by a mysterious stranger plying them with sweet
treats. Determined to set things right, it’s up to them to face their worst fears and return to the witch’s house for a final showdown. Starring Bill Bekele and Joselyn Esien.



Don’t Look Up – Friday 24th December | Netflix

Two low-level astronomers must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an
approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth. Starring Rob Morgan, Tyler Perry, Kid Cudi amongst other well-known faces.


Ainsley’s Christmas: Good Mood Food – Saturday 25th December 2pm | ITV

Ainsley is joined by celebrity guests for a festive good mood feast, including a biryani, a delicious duck dish and sumptuous desserts.


Quentin Blake: The Drawing Of My Life – Saturday 25th December 4:10pm |
BBC Two

BBC Two celebrates one of Britain’s best-loved artists: the illustrator and author Sir Quentin Blake. The programme features contributions from famous collaborators and admirers, among them Dapo Adeola and Ore Oduba.


Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special – Saturday 25th December 5:10pm | BBC One

Strictly Come Dancing returns to the Ballroom for an all-star Christmas special, as six Strictly stars take to the floor in a bid to be crowned Christmas Champions 2021.


Call The Midwife Christmas Special – Saturday 25th December 8pm | BBC One

The Christmas of 1966 promises to be a memorable one at Nonnatus House as Lucille and Cyril prepare for their upcoming winter wedding. The midwives are faced with their busiest Christmas Day ever as the Maternity Home is filled with expectant mums to be, each with their own challenging case, but, luckily, Mother Mildred is on hand to support them. Starring Leonie Elliott.


A Musical Family Christmas With The Kanneh-Masons – Saturday 25th
December 8:35pm | BBC Two

Spend Christmas with the wonderfully talented Kanneh-Mason family: seven
brothers and sisters, aged 12 to 25, who are taking the classical music world by
storm. Coming home to Nottingham for the festive period, their unique seasonal
celebration is a fusion of family traditions from the UK, Sierra Leone and the Caribbean.


The Larkins At Christmas – Saturday 25th December 9pm | ITV

In this festive special, the Larkins are gearing up for Christmas, and in the village all talk is of the pantomime and an ongoing spate of burglaries – with Miss Pilchester, the Normans and the local celebrity among the victims. While PC Harness applies his limited gifts to finding the culprit, Mariette and Charley take their love to the next level, and Pop and Ma are overjoyed to have the pair back for Christmas, but chaos descends when Charley’s parents arrive to meet the Larkin clan, and the entire village is left without lighting and heating following a power cut.


Around The World in 80 Days – Sunday 26th December 5:50pm | BBC One

Gentleman adventurer Phileas Fogg sets out on a quest to travel around the world and back home in a period of 80 days. Ibrahim Koma stars as Passepartout.


Death In Paradise Christmas Special – Sunday 26th December 7.30pm | BBC One

A feature-length special to conclude the anniversary celebrations, which stretches from a grey, damp and drizzly London all the way to the sparkling beauty of idyllic Saint Marie. A wealthy shipping magnate is found dead at a Christmas party. Things get stranger when a man in London receives a mysterious Christmas card connected to the victim’s death. Danny John-Jules makes a return as charismatic Officer Dwayne Myers, with special guest Jocelyn Jee Esien joining the regular cast.
