Jonathan Nolan’s incredible retelling of the Michael Crichton film and novel returns. Starring Thandiwe Newton.


Storyville: Citizen Ashe – Tuesday 28th June @ 10pm | BBC Four

Documentary telling the little-known story of sports legend Arthur Ashe off the tennis court. Known to most on account of his stellar sports career – he became the first black man to win Wimbledon in 1975 – the film uncovers Ashe’s work as a social activist, a role that embraced not only the civil rights movement in the US and African Americans but all oppressed peoples throughout the world.


Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men – Tuesday 28th June 10pm | Sky Documentaries

A four-part documentary looking back on the hip-hop group’s career, revealing how its members overcame violence and poverty to form one of the most recognisable musical collectives in the world.


Beauty – Wednesday 29th June | Netflix

A young singer on the brink of a promising career finds herself torn between a domineering family, industry pressure and her love for her girlfriend. With Michael Ward.


Afro Beats: The Back Story – Wednesday 29th June | Netflix

Music pioneers Kenny Ogungbe, Dayo “D1” Adeneye, Paul “Play” Dairo and others dive into the rise of Afrobeats, the Nigerian global music phenomenon.


Atlanta: Season 3 – Wednesday 29th June | Disney+

Earn works as a manager for his cousin Alfred, an upcoming rapper, and they try to make a name for themselves in the music industry. Earn struggles with providing for his child and lover.


The Undeclared War – Thursday 30th June @ 9pm | Channel 4

Thriller set in a post-pandemic 2024 in the run-up to a British general election, which sees GCHQ secretly working to ward off a cyber-attack on the country’s electoral system. Starring Adrian Lester and Maisie Richardson-Sellers.


Alex Scott: The Future of Women’s Football -Sunday 3rd July @10:30pm | BBC Three

The former England star looks at the growth in popularity of the women’s game and asks what its future holds. Speaking to leading names such as Chelsea manager Emma Hayes, Lionesses captain Leah Williamson and England’s head coaches Sarina Wiegman and Gareth Southgate.
