What to Watch w/c 28th November

Christmas is near and that means holiday themed romantic comedies for some of us.

Well, we’ve got a recommendation for you – Boxing Day, it’s a Black romantic Christmas film with an all star cast and it’s in cinemas this Friday. Not one to miss. Documentary about the reggae movement that blossomed in the UK, a thriving
scene born of the union between Jamaican music and spirituality and the rebellious spirit of the times.


You Don’t Know Me – Sunday 5th December 9pm | BBC One

Hero (Samuel Adewunmi), a young man from South London, is in the dock for
murder. The prosecution barrister relates damning evidence to him in the closing speech. Hero decides he wants to tell his own story, rather than the version that his barrister decided was in his best interests, and exercises his right to present his own closing speech. He fires his barrister and tells the jury that he is innocent and shares a very different sequence of events that placed a law-abiding car salesman in the frame for murder.
