The team mark National Windrush Day by restoring items that celebrate the Windrush generation. Beverley comes into the barn with a British passport issued to her father in Jamaica in 1948 which served as his legally binding document to come to the UK to help rebuild after the Second World War. Keithly brings in a suitcase used by his mother that holds memories of her journey from the island of Nevis to the UK in 1956. Brother and sister duo Dorcas and Stephan bring a precious clock for the attention of horologist Steven Fletcher, it being the first item their parents Hermann and Keturah saved up to buy after arriving in the UK from Antigua. Patrick Vernon OBE brings with him his British-Jamaican Second World War veteran father’s radiogram for repair
