Goethe-Institut Mobility Grants Open for Artists and Culture Professionals Across Sub-Saharan Africa
The Goethe-Institut has opened applications for its Mobility Grants for Artists and Culture Professionals, supporting short-term professional travel and exchange between countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The scheme primarily focuses on Africa-to-Africa mobility, while artists and cultural organisations based in Europe may also apply if they have an established partnership with an African artist, institution or organisation.
Supported activities must take place between 1 January and 31 August 2027.
The programme aims to strengthen professional networks and knowledge exchange across Sub-Saharan Africa, while creating opportunities for artists and cultural practitioners to develop their practices, access new audiences and markets, and establish longer-term collaborations.
